Taylor's introduction to the television audience came in February 2007 when she made her debut on an episode of "My Super Sweet Sixteen." Then she made a notable appearance in Jay-Z's "Blue Magic" video later that year. 

Teyana's journey continued with the release of her first commercial single, "Google Me," in February 2008. Her involvement extended to various creative realms, including the release of the "From a Planet Called Harlem" mixtape in 2009. She also acted in "Stomp the Yard: Homecoming" and the Oxygen Network's "House of Glam" in 2010.

Then, in March 2017, Taylor started a workout program called "Fade 2 Fit." It's a 90-day plan that involves dancing and exercising. She got the idea from being in Kanye West's "Fade" music video. 

Teyana also launched a line of workout clothes called Fade2Fit. In May 2019, she was part of and directed the music video for Lil Durk's remix of "Home Body" in his album "Signed to the Streets 3."

In 2022, Taylor took part in season seven of The Masked Singer as "Firefly" on Team Good. Surprisingly, she won in the finals, making her the youngest winner in the history of the show at just 31 years old.
