Correspondent of 'NBC News', Jones is a well-known personality in the television industry. She began her journalism career at WICS, in Springfield, Illinois. Then, Shenielle served in many networks such as KOKI- TV, FOX affiliate, and WTXF- TV. 

Her career took a peek when she joined 'NBC News', later got an opportunity in Today network as part of 'Weekend Today'. At the end of December of 2019, Jones decided to left and now working as a co-host at '3rd Hour Today'.
