While Campbell was a main cast member for the whole show alongside Martin Lawrence, she didn't appear in many season five episodes due to a sexual harassment lawsuit against Lawrence and the producers. Tisha later returned for the series finale but didn't share scenes or interact with Lawrence as part of the settlement.

At 16, Campbell landed a significant role in the 1986 film "Little Shop of Horrors," marking a pivotal moment in her career.  After finishing high school, Tisha ventured to Hollywood to pursue acting.

Tisha's move paid off when she swiftly secured a role on the NBC musical-comedy series "Rags to Riches." Although the show ended after one season in 1988, she transitioned back to movies, notably starring in "School Daze" and featuring in films like "Rooftops," "Another 48 Hrs," "Boomerang," and all three "House Party" movies.

In 1992, Campbell joined the cast of "Martin," starring alongside Martin Lawrence. Despite boosting her career, her time on the show was marred by a distressing experience. She departed in 1997 amidst a highly publicized sexual harassment controversy involving Lawrence. Following this, she appeared in the film "Sprung."

Tisha's career continued with roles in the Hallmark film "The Sweetest Gift" (1998) and a recurring role in the ABC comedy series "My Wife and Kids" until 2005. She also appeared in the film "The Last Place on Earth." Further recurring roles followed in shows like "Everybody Hates Chris" and "Rita Rocks."

In 2011, Campbell joined the cast of the police drama series "The Protector." Later she secured a recurring role in the sitcom "Dr. Ken."

In addition to her acting career, Tisha found success in the music industry. Campbell's debut album, "Tisha," was released in 1992. She also contributed a song to the "Sprung" soundtrack. Throughout the '90s and 2000s, Campbell appeared in various music videos. Towards the late 2010s, she resumed releasing several singles.

Tisha Campbell Real Estate

In 2009, news surfaced that Tisha Campbell and Duane Martin had sold a property in Lake Arrowhead, California, fetching $1.597 million. They had bought this property back in 2004 for $880,000.

The house boasts 3,858 square feet of living space and provides water access via a slip dock for potential boat owners. Subsequently, in 2005, the couple acquired another property in Chatsworth for $900,000, which became their primary residence.

As part of Duane's bankruptcy arrangement, he was compelled to sell the Chatsworth property to settle numerous debts, including a $1.5 million loan extended by none other than Will Smith

However, Tisha took steps to prevent her ex-husband from receiving any profits from the sale. Given Duane's substantial debts and his role in forcing the sale of their family home, Tisha argued that neither Duane nor his family should benefit from the proceeds of the real estate sale.

Tisha Campbell Bankruptcy

In 2016, Tisha Campbell and her husband, Duane Martin, filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy. Legal records disclosed they were facing over $15 million in debt, holding assets valued at only $313,000. Their assets included $65,000 in real estate and $248,000 in personal belongings.

The couple reported an income of $7,655 monthly but faced nearly $17,000 in monthly expenses. They listed several vehicles, such as a 2014 Range Rover, a 2016 Range Rover, a 1999 Kawasaki Drifter, and a Jeep Wrangler, among their possessions.

The disclosed debts amounted to $15,145,387 to various creditors. This included a $3 million real estate loan owed to Broadway Federal Bank and a $9.5 million personal guarantee debt to the City of Los Angeles.

Additionally, during this challenging period, Tisha and Duane encountered tax payment difficulties, reportedly owing tens of thousands of dollars in back taxes.

Tisha Campbell Divorce Settlement

In February 2018, Tisha Campbell filed for divorce from Duane Martin after 22 years of marriage. Court documents revealed Tisha's assets valued at $1.5 million but lacking a steady income. She stated her monthly expenses were $33,000, while Martin's income exceeded $62,000 monthly.

Campbell also claimed Duane hid the money, including an undisclosed real estate purchase. One unusual claim was about Duane supposedly owning $750,000 worth of shirts (500 shirts valued at $1,500 each).

Their divorce was finalized in December 2020, with terms stating no spousal or child support for either party. Tisha retained a leased home and a leased 2020 BMW, while Duane kept a separate leased home, a leased Bentley, and two motorcycles.
