Tamar Braxton and Jeremy 'JR' Robinson Engaged Again After 3-Month Separation
Tamar Braxton and Jeremy “JR” Robinson are back together after ending their engagement in October.
In a detailed Instagram post on Monday, Robinson openly discussed his past faults and the efforts he has made to improve as a partner, coinciding with the announcement of their renewed relationship.
"He asked in a caption with selfies of the two, 'How deep is your love? How deep is the bond that God made possible? How do you deal with challenges, heartache, and recovery?' He expressed his belief that love can be painful, wonderful, and a divine gift to our hearts.
Robinson went on to pose thoughtful questions about the sacrifices and endurance needed in love. 'Are we ready to put our pride aside to save what remains of our love?'
Jeremy added, 'There are many questions. My answer is: that I had to work hard to overcome the pain and my pride because God always reminded me of my deep love for @tamarbraxton. Still, I needed time to heal and appreciate the beauty of our love.'
He confessed that when they broke up, he felt 'angry' and ended up 'misusing people who were, in turn, trying to misuse me' during their time apart."
Robinson said, "Hurt people end up hurting others," acknowledging his responsibility for wanting her to share his pain.
Jeremy realized that ultimately, he was the one who suffered the most and needed to heal from his past issues. Now healed, the Queens Court alum is ready to be open and responsible for both his successes and failures.
While healing, he didn't want to be with anyone else, yet he also didn't want to be alone, a feeling many might understand. He apologized to those he hurt, thankful that God protected what was meant for him, allowing them to rediscover their love.
Robinson expressed his deep gratitude for how much Braxton stood by him. Committed to loving her forever, he appreciates the support from family, friends, and fans.
Braxton's representative didn't immediately respond to PEOPLE for a comment.
On October 2, Jeremy shared on social media that he and Braxton had split up. This came after their engagement in the first season finale of Queens Court, which was broadcast in March.
In an Instagram Story post, Robinson addressed the situation, "There are a lot of questions and assumptions. I'll answer what I can respectfully. Yes, Tamar and I are no longer an item. I ended it to work on bringing more positivity into my life and to be a better person."
He chose not to share specific reasons for their breakup, stating, "What happened and why - that remains private between us."
Later, a source informed PEOPLE that it was Braxton who decided to end the relationship.
The source mentioned, "There's been plenty of drama, but there's still hope that it's not completely over between them. She needs some time. The decision is up to her. She is mentally well and has a strong support network around her during this time."
