He was born on 7th January 1949 in Memphis, Tennessee, and in the United States of America. Williams is a son of Robert Williams ( father ) and Laura McLaurin (mother), who grew up along with his small brother, Robert Williams in Chicago. He has done schooling at Phillips High School.
