Sofia Richie Is Pregnant, Expecting Baby Girl with Husband Elliot Grainge

Sofia Richie and her partner Elliot Grainge are expecting their first child. 

The couple shared the exciting news with Vogue, disclosing that they are anticipating the arrival of a baby girl. 

On Instagram, Richie posted a picture from the magazine photo shoot and said, "Our hearts are really happy! Thanks a lot for your support! Eagerly anticipating the next chapter of life."

Sofia, who is six months pregnant, told the magazine that she kept the news quiet to keep her personal space safe. 

"Pregnancy is kind of frightening," she said. "I didn't know there are lots of steps and tests. We needed to take care of our mental health and keep our space as a couple." 

Richie shared that both she and Grainge were surprised when they found out they were having a daughter.

"We both believed it would be a boy, so it was a surprise," Sofia remarked. "Even though my lifelong aspiration has always been to have a daughter, Elliot is genuinely excited about welcoming a girl into our lives as well." 

The model has been concealing her baby bump with oversized coats and bulky sweaters but is excited about enjoying her wardrobe now that the news is public.

"Now that we're making it public, I have a bunch of ideas," Sofia mentioned, and continued, "I'm ready to have some fun with it now that I can explore and enjoy."

Richie and Grainge made their relationship public in early 2021. 

The lovebirds initially began as friends, as explained by the fashion designer in an August interview with Who What Wear. 

"We began as friends," recalled Lionel Richie’s daughter. "However, when our connection turned romantic, he had a way of making me feel special and genuinely valued. Right from the start of our relationship, I had a strong sense that he was the one." 

In April 2022, the music executive proposed on one knee, and Sofia, the fashion designer, revealed her engagement ring on Instagram. 

"Forever isn't long enough," Richie expressed in her joyous post.

One year later, the couple exchanged vows in France, with A-list guests like Paris Hilton and Cameron Diaz in attendance. 

The bride looked breathtaking in a custom Chanel gown during the April ceremony.

Before Sofia started dating Grainge, she was often in the news for her three-year relationship with Scott Disick, a star from the show "Kardashians." 

Sofia used to be seen in pictures frequently with Disick and Kourtney Kardashian's three kids - Mason, Penelope, and Reign. However, their relationship ended in 2020.
