Alexa has six siblings, including actress Makenzie Vega, who moved to California at the age of four. Her acting career began at eight in the film Twister, followed by numerous TV appearances. 

Alexa's extensive acting repertoire includes Spy Kids sequels, Lifetime films, Broadway, and various indie productions. Additionally, she participated in Dancing with the Stars and has a musical inclination, contributing to soundtracks. Carlos Roberto PenaVega, born on August 15, 1989, in Columbia, Missouri, is an American actor and singer known for his role as Carlos García in the Nickelodeon series Big Time Rush and as part of the boy band of the same name. Raised in Weston, Florida, PenaVega attended Sagemont Upper School where he engaged in cheerleading and local theater productions, sparking his passion for singing and dancing. His acting career started with TV guest appearances before landing his breakthrough role in Big Time Rush. 

The show led to the formation of the band which released several albums. Carlos ventured into a solo music career, competed in Dancing with the Stars, and starred in various Hallmark movies. He reunited with Big Time Rush for concerts and tours. Married to actress Alexa PenaVega since 2014, the couple shares a YouTube channel.
