The famous American actress and producer, Reese Witherspoon, has inked two different tattoos on her body with each holding a different meaning.

Reese previously used to have only one tattoo but she later on added the other one after she got married to her former agent, Jim Toth. Here is everything you need to know about the tattoos that the star has on her body:

Star on Belly

A beautiful Reese Witherspoon's tattoo was first spotted on the belly back in 2011 when she wore a gorgeous bikini set at a beach. Though the ink was first spotted by people in 2011, the actress said that it was already couple of years older before they actually got a glance at the tattoo. 

A star tattoo mostly is considered as the symbol of fighting against darkness as stars come out in dark and help us by providing light. In some manners, the star tattoo also represents truth and spirituality of the person having it.

Two Birds Surrounding The Star Tattoo

The 43 years old Reese Witherspoon got another tattoo back in 2011 after she got married to her current husband, Jim Toth. She surrounded her previous star tattoo with two birds, most likely to be doves, from both sides. She inked the tattoo to mark the new beginning and lovely marital life with Jim.

Basically, birds tattoos are thought to represent spirituality, communication, and understanding between two people. Hence, it seems that the tattoo has been perfectly suiting the actress as she is living a very happy marital life with her hubby.
