Peter O. Philips professionally known as Pete Rock, is an American rapper, record producer, and DJ. He is best known for his remix works and is widely recognized as one of the greatest producers of all time. He is also known as or given a nickname as Soul Brother and The Chocolate Boy Wonder.

He was born on June 21, 1970, in The Bronx New York and then moved to Mount Vernon, New York, U.S. when he was seven years old and is of Jamaican descent. His father was a part-time DJ. Here are some facts about  Rapper Pete Rock:

In Pete's early 1990s, he and CL Smooth formed a group and recorded two albums and one EP together but later they parted their ways and continued their solo career.

Rock remixed the Sunny Side song named Magical Amount for a Remix Project 'Truth' which is a national campaign which help teenage to eliminate smoking in the United States. Pete and other nine artist participated the campaign.
