Nicole Threatt - Former Dr.Dre Spouse Who Was Involved in Nasty Divorce

Nicole Threatt came into the limelight as the wife of Andre Romelle Young aka Dr. Dre. He is a reputed rapper, record producer, and audio engineer who is the founder and CEO of "Aftermath Entertainment".

On 1st January 1970, she was born to her parents in the United States and her real name is Nicole Kendra Plotzker. Threatt got graduated from Law University and holds a degree as an attorney. She grabbed the attention as the wife of the celebrity.

Married Life With Dr. Dre

Nicole Threatt exchanged the vows with Dr. Dre in 1996, in a private ceremony. In 1995, the rapper wrote a letter for her, which went viral. They were happy with their marriage and welcomed a child. 

Unfortunately, after 24 years of married life, the duo got separated and their children's custody is given to Nicole. 

Why Do They Got Divorced? 

Threatt filed for divorce in 2020 which was officially finalized in June 2020. The reason behind their separation was an affair of the rapper with a model, Kili Anderson. 

According to Page Six, the rapper pays $300,000 per month as child support. He almost $3.5 million a year in spousal support. 

Mama of Three Children  

Nicole is the mother of three children with her previous husband and Mr.Young. She became the mother of Sedale Threatt Jr. in 1985, who is a renowned actor. 

After the second marriage, in 1997, gave birth to a son, Truice Young and in 2001, again welcomed Truly Young. The two children are growing up with their mother. Her second child has followed his father's footsteps and is now a record producer. Truly Young often attends at the event and movie premiere. 

Previous Marriage 

Before marrying Young, Threatt was married to Sedale Threatt, who is a retired basketball player. The couple didn't open their wedding date but were in long term relationship. 

In 1996, they got a divorce due to her affair with Young. The pair shares one child whose custody was given to Nicole.
