Real Estate Owner of 250 Acres

He was the owner of the most impressive properties of a 250 acres estate on the coast of Spain called S’Estaca. He bought in 1990 for $3.5 million, which today’s market price is $6 million. 

In 2014, he listed his mansion for sale is $60 million but did not find a buyer. Again, in 2019, he re-listed it for $32 million and got a buyer who is Douglas’s ex-wife Diandra Luker.

In 2015, Michael purchased a 13-acre property in NY’s Westchester Country for $11.3 million, which he listed for sale in 2019. The house was sold in $20.5 million.

Michael Douglas's career hit the peak after giving a block blaster film in 1987. The movie is ‘Fatal Attraction’, directed by Adrian Lyne and written by James Dearden. It was made on the budget $14 million and earned $320.1 million that was a huge amount profit on the box office. 

In the movie, Douglas played the role of Daniel “Dan” Gallagher as a husband of Beth, father of Ellen, and New York attorney who has an affair with his co-worker Alex Forrest and later regrets it.

In 1997, James Parker filed a case for Douglas. Because of Douglas of hitting Parker in the groin with an errant golf ball which caused Parker a great distress. The case was later settled out of court by paying $25 million.
