Miki Yim came into the limelight after she became the wife of Sung Kang. Apart from that, she is working as a fashion designer who has worked with many brands. 

In 1974, Yim came into this world in South Korea. She earned her Bachelor's degree with a major in English Language Arts from Meiji Gakuin University. The designer is multi-language and speaks English, French, and Japanese.

In 2009, there was a controversy that Mrs. Yim and  Mr. Kang were hiding their children which became false later. On 24th September 2009, when the actor was spotted with two little kids at the Bangkok International Film Festival opening ceremony at SF World Cinema. 

It became the topic of the media and they rumored they were his children but Mr. Kang came into the conference and said that they were his nephews.   

Charity Works

Mrs. Yim has been involved in charity work. Since 2018, she has been a volunteer for a non-profit organization, Humane Society. Miki is an honorable member of the Meiji Gakuin University Alumni group and dFilm Festivalonates some amount of her income.
