Malcolm James McCormick aka Mac Miller is a deceased American Hip-Hop musician who came to the limelight within a short time. 

He was born on 19 January 1992, in Pennsylvania, United States. He is a son of a photographer Karen Meyers and an architect Mark McCormick.

Education 

He did his schooling from Winchester Thurston School, where he was an average student but was into sports and was a member of the school's sports club. Likewise, Miller completed his high school from Taylor Allderdice High School where his passion for rap music rose.

Musical Career and Rise

Mac was serious about his career since he was 14, before becoming a known rapper, Mac was also interested in singing. 

In 2007, he released his first album, "Macking Ain't Easy", at that time he was known as Ez Mac. He was later signed in to Rostrum studio and got successful after launching his debut album, 'K.I.D.S,' in 2010. His success was followed by a feature in a song, 'Moves Like Jagger' by Maroon 5.

This talented rapper continued releasing mixtapes like loud (2012), Watching Movies with the Sound Off (2013), and Run-On Sentences (2013). 

As a rapper, he also appeared on MTV2 reality show The Most Dope Family, launched on February 26, 2013. On September 16, 2016, his rap album titled 'Dang' was released.  

Awards and Achievement

In 2010, Mac 2010 Pittsburgh Hip Hop Awards: 21 & Under of the Year, and Best Hip Hop Video for "Live Free", which become his most fecund achievement that year. 

Additionally, he has was appointed as a member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire and received 6 Eisner Award nominations.

Drugs Addiction

Miller struggled with substance abuse which led to his ultimate death. In an interview with Complex, Mac said he was burdened by the stress of his 2012 Macadelic tour, so he turned to drugs for relief.

He got addicted to a combination of promethazine and codeine, also known as "purple drank" or "lean". Miller, died of substance abuse and his sudden death occurred on September 7, 2018.

Mac Miller Is Still Worth $9 Million

Mac Miller was a talented trapper whose net worth is still at $9 million, even after his death. He was a self-made rapper, drummer, guitarist, and was also able to play bass and the piano. 

It was evident that he was full of the rivet, promising gifts, merits fame, and thoughtfulness but sadly, the rapper fell into the substance abuse trap and lost his life.

Miller Dated Arianna Grande

Miller's first relationship ended on a sad note and he reportedly wrote his hit 'Macadelic' for her. Miller never outed the name of his first heart-breaker but he has said that he fell love in his High School days and the pair ended their relationship after 4 years. 

Miller after collaboration with Arianna Grande was rumored to be dating her as well. The pair were often spotted in various places together but they weren't dating when Mac died.

Mac was quite a Tattoo lover and had inked various tattoos all over his body. Miller had zero regrets on getting any of them, but he always regretted not having more space in his body.

He also held a Guinness Book of records for the most tattooed Musician.

"sometimes, with tattooing, people get too lost in meaning. I'm more of remember-the-moment type of person."

Miller was born on 19 January 1992 and was only 26 years old while at his death. Late musician Miller is now buried in The Homewood Cemetery, Pittsburgh, PA.
