Lisa has three sisters named Donna, Darlene Wynn, and Janet. She also has a brother named Peter A. Kurbikoff Jr.

When Elwes first saw her, he had some tickets for rides and asked her to join him. Kurbikoff agreed and Cary made a big impression on her.  

The pair waited a few months before going on their first date. In December 1997, they got engaged in Paris at the Eiffel Tower's Le Jules Verne restaurant. Cary, originally from London, loves Paris because that's where he proposed. 

Lisa and Cary got married on June 25, 2000. Seven years later, their daughter, Dominique Elwes, was born on April 24, 2007. 

Elwes mentioned in an interview that meeting and falling in love with Lisa felt like a moment from a character he played called Westley. He also feels the same kind of happiness about the birth of their daughter. Being Dominique's dad is his proudest achievement.

Elwes gained widespread recognition for his role as Westley in the beloved classic film "The Princess Bride" (1987), which remains a cult favorite. He showcased his talent for both drama and comedy in this iconic role, solidifying his place in the hearts of audiences worldwide.
