Cephus has taken the mic several times to freestyle some clean bars. In May 2020, Offset shared a video where his youngest son rapped lines like, "I'm flying with the King Kody. I got beats, I'ma jump on the trampoline, I'ma do all that and, yeah/I'm 'bout to go in the building." 

What's impressive is how, given his age, Kody's rapping shows promise, complete with hand movements. Offset occasionally shares videos of his six-year-old son rapping, showing noticeable improvement in vibe and gestures.

Offset, Kody Cephus' father, has faced multiple run-ins with law enforcement throughout his early career. In 2013, around the time of his first single release, "Versace," Offset was incarcerated in Georgia's DeKalb County Jail for violating probation resulting from previous felony convictions related to burglary and theft.  

Moreover, in 2015, police apprehended Offset for possession of an unspecified Schedule II narcotic, marijuana, and having a firearm in a school safety zone. Other offenses committed by Kody's father include battery, rioting, driving with a suspended license, and being detained for carrying a concealed weapon.
