Keyshia Cole Controversies

In August 2005, a dispute ignited between Keyshia Cole and Lil' Mo during an episode of the Star and Buc Wild Morning Show. Lil' Mo reportedly downplayed the vocal abilities of emerging R&B artists, suggesting they relied solely on dancing.

Cole felt offended and confronted Lil' Mo's manager and a stylist at the Dream Hotel in New York City, allegedly accusing them of betrayal, labeling Lil' Mo as "the enemy." Lil' Mo later shrugged off the incident, attributing Cole's behavior to alleged intoxication, a claim Cole denied.

On March 16, 2012, Keyshia took issue with Gucci Mane's song "Truth." Mane's lyrics implied that during Cole's rumored relationship with Young Jeezy, she was romantically involved with Diddy. Cole responded on the radio, expressing disappointment in rappers spreading falsehoods to boost their music sales.

In March 2013, Cole faced criticism from urban media for criticizing Beyonce's "Bow Down/I Been On" on Twitter. This led to a series of heated exchanges on social media between Keyshia and Lil' Mo over the following days. Despite attempts to quell the tensions in May 2013, they engaged in another round of contentious messages via Instagram and Twitter.
