Ex-Husband - Gilles Bensimon

The 'A Dangerous Age' author Kelly Bensimon was previously married to French fashion photographer Gilles Bensimon. The two walked down the aisle back in 1997 and splitted a decade later, in 2007. Though the couple had an age difference of 24 years, they were deeply in love with each other and had two kids from their marriage. However, as they failed to take their marriage to eternity, they divorced and parted ways for good.

Mother of Two

As we mentioned earlier, the Illinois native has two beautiful kids from her marriage with ex-husband Gilles. She has two daughters namely Sea Louise Bensimon and Thadeus Ann Bensimon from which Sea is the firstborn (born 1998) whereas the latter is the younger one (born 2000). Kelly Bensimon previously used to work at Elle accessories as the editor of the magazine's shopping blog. She started working for the French based brand after she left 'Real Housewives of New York City'. Was Arrested For Domestic Violence

It was back in March 5 of 2009 when the mother of two was arrested after she was alleged of domestic violence and assaulting on her ex-boyfriend, Nick Stefanov. He (her former boyfriend) claimed that he got punched in the face by her during an argument.

After Killoren Bensimon was released from custody, on June 8, she requested the State of New York to clean her criminal record. For this, she had to do two days of community service and was also ordered to stay out of trouble for a year. In this way, she was able to wipe out her criminal history.

Dropped Her Former Husband's Name

Back in August, 2017, Kelly opened up in a video saying she went back to her maiden surname (her original surname before marriage). She stated that she went to being Kelly Killoren dropping her estranged husband's name. Though she dropped her ex-husband's name and used her previous name, most of us still know her more as Kelly Bensimon.
