Jerry Seinfeld and Jessica Seinfeld crossed paths for the first time at the Reebok Sports Club on New York City's Upper West Side in August 1998. Jessica shared that when they met, Jerry tried to cheer her up with jokes, even though she wasn't in the mood for entertainment. 

However, Jerry's humor eventually made Jessica laugh. By October 1999, rumors started swirling that Jerry and Jessica were dating, about a year after Jessica's previous marriage ended.

On November 22, 1999, PEOPLE announced that Jerry Seinfeld and Jessica Seinfeld had become engaged. The report detailed their celebratory evening at Balthazar in downtown Manhattan, where they shared a booth and toasted their engagement with a bottle of champagne. 

Witnesses noted their excitement, describing how they were too thrilled to eat and spent the evening laughing, kissing, and joyfully discussing their lives.  

A month later, on December 25, 1999, Jerry and Jessica exchanged vows in a Jewish ceremony held at a private penthouse in New York's Greenwich Village. Approximately 40 guests attended the intimate wedding, witnessing the couple saying their vows. 

Jessica wore a white spaghetti-strap gown designed by her then-boss, Tommy Hilfiger.

On November 7, 2000, almost a year after their wedding, Jessica Seinfeld and Jerry Seinfeld joyfully welcomed their first child, a daughter named Sascha. In 2001, Jessica founded Baby Buggy (now known as GOOD+ Foundation), aiming to gather baby essentials for families in need. 

Then, on March 1, 2003, Jessica and Jerry's family expanded again. After a confirmation in August 2002 that a new addition was on the way, their son Julian arrived in March the following year. 

Subsequently, on August 22, 2005, Jessica and Jerry welcomed their third child, son Shepherd Kellen. This arrival was announced by Regis Philbin in April 2005. Jerry reflected on fatherhood, expressing how it unveils unexpected emotions and instincts, leading to an incredible journey of discovery. 

In June 2023, Jerry and Jessica were seen enjoying a vacation on a yacht near Saint-Tropez in the south of France. The year before, they had taken their kids for a summer getaway to Capri, Italy.

On October 25, 2007, just over two years after completing their family of five, Jessica Seinfeld praised her comedian husband, Jerry Seinfeld, for his ability to keep their family entertained. She highlighted how he continuously brings laughter to their lives, making both her and their children burst into laughter. 

Jerry's talent includes using funny voices and making amusing faces while reading stories to their kids, captivating them with different character voices.

On April 25, 2017, Jerry Seinfeld proudly supported Jessica Seinfeld's fourth cookbook, "Food Swings," by sharing a shout-out on Instagram. He sported a gray sweater in solidarity with the book's release and highlighted its immediate success as an Amazon bestseller.  

Additionally, during an appearance on Good Morning America the day before the book's launch, Jessica reminisced about the first meal she ever cooked for Jerry. She revealed that when he asked her out on their first date, she eagerly offered to cook and prepare chicken parmesan, marking a memorable start to their culinary journey together. 

Jerry Seinfeld's Past Relationships

Jerry Seinfeld dated Tawny Kitaen, an actress who appeared on his show "Seinfeld." They kept their relationship quiet at first but later showed their affection openly. Their relationship ended when Tawny found out she was expecting a child with her ex-boyfriend.  

Before marrying Jessica, Seinfeld dated Shoshanna Lonstein when she was 17 and he was 38. Many people didn't like their relationship due to the big age difference. They were together for about four years before splitting up in 1997.
