Jake DeVito

Jake DeVito is an American actor, director, and producer primarily known for his roles in Toms River, The Better Angels, and Curmudgeons. He also rose to prominence as a result of his celebrity parents, Hollywood celebrities Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman.

Jake temporarily entered the entertainment industry in the mid-2000s with a minimal role in the film "Pieces of a Dream" (2005), then took a long sabbatical to explore other endeavors, reappearing six years later in 2011 as a lighting and cinematographer in the films "Nest of Vipers" and "Palpitations."

Early Life

Jake DeVito was born in October 1987 in New York City, New York. Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman are his guardians. He comes from a family of 3 kids and is the youngest of the DeVito's. He had grown up with his two siblings, Lucy DeVito and Grace DeVito. On his mother's side, Jake has Polish ancestors. Jake's grandfather, a Polish immigrant named Philip Perlman, worked as a manager at a doll parts manufacturing. His grandma also worked as a bookkeeper. The couple originally met in 1971 during a show in Shrinking Bride and later reconnected for the second time through mutual friends. Back then, the two had a steadily developing career and were famous for a long time. After three decades of marriage, the pair confirmed their divorce in 2012. She also produced the short movie 'Curmudgeons' and is now focusing on 'Little Demon,' a forthcoming FXX production. Lucy has also featured in a variety of movies alongside her parents, including 'Juman 2019,' 'The Comedian 2016,' and the off-Broadway production 'Love, Loss, and What I Wore.'

Grace Fan DeVito, Jake's second older sister, is also an actor. She was born on March 25, 1985. She has featured in the films Amboy,' 'Bloom,' and 'My Girlfriend's Abroad.' Grace has fewer accolades than her older sister, Lucy, or her renowned parents since her involvement in Hollywood remains small.

Besides that, he has spent a significant portion of his career working behind the scenes as a crew member on a variety of projects. Jake has five film credits as a producer, three film credits in the Electric domain and camera, one sound department credit, and two acting credits.
