Jaime Bennington is the firstborn and the eldest child of the famous American singer and frontman of 'Linkin Park', late Chester Bennington and his ex-girlfriend Elka Brand. He was born on the 12th of May, 1996, in the United States.

Jaime's father, the late legendary musician, held a massive net worth of $30 million at the time of his death back in 2017. He was able to amass such an amazing fortune from his musical career and the long journey he had with his band.

Jaime Bennington's parents weren't together for so long as they never married. They just dated for some years before he was born. His father, Chester, got married to Samantha Marie Olit in the same year when he was born which indicates that they were already broken off by then. 

Though Bennington and Brand were already separated in 2006, the singer adopted his ex-girlfriend's second son Isaiah from other relationship and gave his surname. The two remained very good friends after their split too and parented their kids properly.

Passing Away of Dad

On July 20, 2017, Jaime's father passed away after committing suicide and taking his own life. He hanged himself to death from the ceiling of his apartment in Palos Verdes Estates, California. It is said that he had been battling depression for quite a long time. 

The untimely death of Bennington shocked his wife and kids a lot. His wife, Talinda said that she never knew what her husband was going through and though that he was in a good place. All she knew was Chester had a bit of mental sickness but she didn't have a clue that he was fighting hard to win against depression. Jaime was also very devastated by the tragedy.

Jaime is an avid book lover and spends most of his leisure reading books whether it be Stephen King's books or some sort of comic book, he likes reading them all. He very often uploads pictures of different pages of books he reads and shares them with his fellow well-wishers.

Finished College Level

It was last year in May, 2018, when Jaime Bennington finished his college level education and completed his graduation. He celebrated his sweet achievement with his mamma who attend the graduation ceremony of her son.
