Who is Elle Duncan's Husband?

Elle Duncan tied the knot with Omar Abdul Ali in 2016. Ali and Duncan first met at a party thrown by Ali's friend. They hit it off and became friends, eventually leading to dating.

During a vacation, Ali proposed to Duncan in a romantic gesture by the riverbank in Atlanta on July 3, 2015, presenting her with a diamond gold ring. The couple shared their joy on social media, showing how happy they were together. 

The couple had a grand wedding ceremony on July 9, 2016, at the Villa Caletas Hotel in Costa Rica. Ali looked dashing in a white suit with a blue bow tie, while Duncan wore an elegant ball gown. 

Their seven bridesmaids added to the celebration with pink sleeveless tea-length pleated dresses. Family and close friends joined them to bless the newlyweds.

In May 2019, Duncan shared a touching story about becoming a mom. She put up a picture on Instagram of herself smiling at her baby, Eva, who was peacefully resting on her chest after being born. 

In a long caption, Elle talked about how hard it was during labor and what happened in the hospital. She said when Eva didn't cry right after birth, it felt like a scary fall from a tall building. Elle thanked the doctors and nurses who worked hard to help Eva. 

Then, in July 2020, on their fourth wedding anniversary, Duncan and Omar shared a photo from their wedding on Instagram. They also announced they were expecting their second child, due in December. Elle said they were having a baby boy and hinted they might have more kids in the future. 

But in December 2020, Elle gave birth to their second child, a boy named Xander. Now, as a 40-year-old mom, she is enjoying life with her family. Her social media is full of pictures showing how happy they are together.

Elle Duncan kickstarted her career in Atlanta as an intern with the 2 Live Stews, a syndicated American sports talk radio show on 790/The Zone. After a year, she was recruited by Atlanta host Ryan Cameron to join the Ryan Cameron Show on V-103. At V-103, she took on roles such as a traffic reporter and on-air personality.

In 2009, Duncan hosted an afternoon show at the station before transitioning to sports reporting for the morning Frank and Wanda show. During her time at V-103, she also contributed to the Atlanta Falcons radio network pre-and post-game shows, served as the Atlanta Hawks sideline reporter, and worked as a freelance sideline reporter for SEC and ACC football games on Comcast Sports South. 

In 2012, Elle became the traffic reporter at NBC affiliate WXIA-TV. In 2014, Duncan joined NESN as an anchor, reporter, and host. She began co-hosting NESN Live Presented by Cross Insurance with Sarah Davis, providing updates from NESN reporters and game-day analysis from Fenway Park, TD Garden, and Gillette Stadium.

While at NESN, Duncan also worked as a sideline reporter for the Boston Red Sox and hosted coverage of Super Bowl XLIX between the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks from Glendale, Arizona. 

On April 27, 2016, Elle joined SportsCenter as an anchor. She currently hosts the weekday 6 pm ET edition of SportsCenter with Kevin Negandhi.

DUI Arrest 

During her time as an 11Alive traffic reporter and Atlanta Hawks sideline reporter, Elle Duncan faced a DUI and reckless driving arrest on April 28, 2013. The arresting officer's report stated that Duncan was seen driving recklessly, weaving in and out of traffic at a high speed, and narrowly avoiding hitting another vehicle. 

Duncan's breathalyzer test revealed a blood alcohol content of 0.099, exceeding the legal limit of 0.08.
