Teresa Giudice Announced That She And Luis Ruelas Are Dating

In November 2020, Teresa Giudice shared that she was dating Luis Ruelas. They met in the summer of 2020, but they didn't tell everyone about their relationship until Giudice posted a picture on Facebook. It was a photo of them at a football game, and in the caption, she said she was excited to reveal her new boyfriend.  

People close to Giudice confirmed that her new boyfriend is Luis "Louie" Ruelas, a businessman. They said Teresa is really happy but is taking things slowly. About a year before this, in December 2019, news came out that Teresa and her ex-husband Joe Giudice decided to separate after being married for 20 years.  

The next month after Teresa's Facebook post, Giudice and Ruelas showed up in public as a couple for the first time. They were seen kissing and holding hands after having dinner in New York City.  

Even though Giudice had already talked about her relationship on Facebook, Luis appeared on her Instagram in late December 2020. Teresa captioned the photo with "The BEST thing that came out of 2020" and two heart emojis. It showed them sitting together, with Luis having his arm around Teresa.  

A lot of Teresa's friends and fans, including her fellow New Jersey Housewives, showed their support and happiness for her on that post. Her friend Margaret Josephs commented that Teresa deserves all the happiness and love, and Jennifer Aydin said she is happy for her. 

Teresa Giudice And Luis Ruelas Got Engaged in October 2021

On October 19, 2021, Teresa Giudice and Luis Ruelas got engaged while they were in Greece. Ruelas proposed to Giudice during their trip to the Amanzoe Resort in Porto Heli, making it a grand and elaborate moment.  

According to someone close, the proposal was incredibly beautiful. There was a choreographed fireworks display that lit up a 'Marry Me' sign while Ruelas knelt with a ring. Teresa was totally surprised and thrilled by the proposal.  

Exclusive photos shared later showed Giudice and Ruelas dressed in white, surrounded by candles and roses. There was even a picture of Luis on one knee proposing to Teresa.  

Dina Manzo, Teresa's friend and former co-star from RHONJ, was there, along with her husband Dave Cantin. It was later revealed on season 12 of RHONJ that Ruelas had asked Giudice's brother, Joe Gorga, for permission to propose.  

After their engagement, Giudice and Luis continued their celebrations by heading to Santorini, Greece. Teresa shared the trip on her Instagram story, posting a photo of the group boarding a helicopter, excitedly heading to Santorini.  

Teresa shared more pictures after arriving in Santorini, giving glimpses of the beautiful island and their luxurious hotel. 

Teresa Giudice Tied The Knot in 2022

On August 6, 2022, Teresa Giudice and Luis Ruelas got married. They had their wedding with 220 guests at the Park Chateau Estate & Gardens in East Brunswick, New Jersey.  

Giudice's four daughters and Ruelas' two sons were there for the fancy event, along with many Bravo TV stars who watched them get married. Some of Teresa's friends from Real Housewives, like Jennifer Aydin, Dolores Catania, Margaret Josephs, and Jackie Goldschneider, were part of the celebration. 

Stars from other Real Housewives shows, such as Dorinda Medley and Jill Zarin from Real Housewives of New York City, Kenya Moore, Phaedra Parks, Cynthia Bailey from Real Housewives of Atlanta, and Ashley Darby from Real Housewives of Potomac, came to celebrate. 

Teresa's brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Melissa Gorga, and her friend Dina Manzo were not there for the wedding.

At the wedding, a band played a song called "I Get To Love You" for Giudice and Luis's first dance. Then, everyone danced to songs like "We Found Love," "This Is How We Do It," and more. They had a big meal and later enjoyed snacks from Shake Shack, a pizza truck, and a candy truck.  

The whole wedding was recorded to be shown on a special TV episode of Real Housewives of New Jersey on Bravo. 

Teresa Giudice Went Greece For Honeymoon

In August 2022, Teresa Giudice and Luis Ruelas went on their honeymoon to Greece. They shared details of their lavish trip, mentioning they were staying at the Calilo luxury hotel on a remote part of an island.  

Giudice excitedly showcased the beautiful hotel on her Instagram Story, capturing a heart-shaped stone in the lobby and describing it as the "land of love." She expressed how stunning everything was and emphasized the love-filled atmosphere.

Teresa also posted pictures of the hotel's mosaic exterior, a sculpture spelling out the word "love," and a picturesque swing positioned over a water pool. Meanwhile, Luis shared a video of Teresa wearing a blue bikini, blowing a kiss to the camera, capturing moments from their honeymoon.
