Elin worked for Champagne, a Stockholm clothing store and also was a featured model for Cafe Sport magazine in 2000 from which she earned $50,000 per year. 

Later, Elin met Mia Parnevik who is the wife of Swedish golfer Jesper Parnevik and worked for them as the nanny of their children where an average salary of a nanny is just $766 per week.

Earned $100M through Divorce Settlement 

Elin Nordegren was married to a golf player Tiger in 2004 and got separated in 2010. The marriage didn't work because the tiger was having an affair with the New York nightclub boss Rachel Uchitel and was sleeping with 120 women while still being married to Elin. 

The divorce was one of the biggest settlements seen on Hollywood as Nordegren got $100 million from the settlement and also got the custody of their child. So more than half of her net worth is from her divorce settlement.

Elin Nordegren owns a house in Windermere, Florida worth $12 million which she build after her divorce settlement which was later demolished in December 2011. Then she bought a house with 2 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms for $1.095 million.  

She built a mansion of 25,000 square feet with 1.4 waterfront acre that includes 11 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, a guest house, wine cellar, catering kitchen, theater, fitness center, and a swimming pool. The mansion was inspired by British West Indies architectural design which she bought for $12.25 million in 2011 and the custom-built was completed in 2014 which she listed for sale on $49.5 million in March 2018.  

Lavish Wedding With Woods  

Elin was married to Tiger Woods on October 5, 2004, in The Sandy Lane Resort which was in the Caribbean island nation of Barbados. The wedding was in front of 120 people which includes family and friends. 

It was very lavish marriage as the wedding cost was $2 million with all the facility provided in a luxurious hotel with high security, beachfront resort area, The rock band Hootie and the Blowfish performance.

Donated Housewares to charity 

The former model, Elin Nordegren donated her high-end housewares to charitable organization Habitat for Humanity after her $12 million houses were demolished. 

The housewares include Kitchen cabinet starting at $89 each, mantelpiece fro $6,000, a custom carved stunning fish accent for $3,700, vintage brass and an iron staircase in $1,300.
