Following several court sessions and assessments, the court finalized the divorce based on the grounds of cruelty and lack of support by Dr. Younan. In the settlement, Delores received approximately 70% of the community estate, while Younan obtained around 30%. 

Delores acquired all the properties she had identified in her sworn inventory and appraisement, including the marital home. Similarly, Dr. Younan received the community's complete interest in BCC.

Delores Nowzaradan had three children during her marriage. Her eldest, Jonathan Nowzaradan, was born on February 6, 1978, and is the only son in the family. 

Jonathan is a successful producer and director known for his work as an executive producer on "My 600-lb Life: Where Are They Now?" He contributed to around 32 episodes of the show from 2015 to 2018, not only as a producer but also as a director.
