Over 220 episodes into the series, her salary has increased from $60,000 to about $100,000 per episode, amounting to roughly $3 million each season.

Bridget Moynahan started her journey into the modeling world right after high school. Interestingly, she wasn't familiar with fashion magazines during her youth. Her modeling career took off unexpectedly when she accompanied a friend to a modeling audition in Springfield, Massachusetts, and ended up being the one signed by the agency.

Moynahan initially worked in department store catalogs while attending the University of Massachusetts Amherst. At 18, she moved to New York City. By the next year, Bridget was featured in high-profile magazines like Vogue and Elle, gracing the covers of several renowned publications including Vogue Paris in May 1993, Elle in October 1993, and Glamour, where she appeared six times. 

Reflecting on this period in a July 2004 interview, Bridget remarked on the lucrative yet transient nature of modeling, which led her to consider acting as a more enduring career. In addition to modeling, she ventured into television commercials, particularly for soaps and shampoos, and took acting and art classes.

Moynahan studied acting at the Caymichael Patten Studio in New York. Her television breakthrough came in 1999 when she landed the role of Natasha in HBO's "Sex and the City," eventually becoming a recurring character until her character's storyline ended with a divorce.

Moynahan was drawn to the film because it centered around five strong, independent women. Although the film wasn't critically acclaimed, it was a commercial hit, grossing $133 million worldwide. She followed this with a supporting role in the 2001 movie "Serendipity," playing Hally, the fiancée of John Cusack's character.

Bridget continued to hone her acting skills, studying under Iris Klein. She then co-starred with Ben Affleck and Morgan Freeman in the action film "The Sum of All Fears," based on Tom Clancy's novel. In this film, she played Dr. Catherine Muller, Jack Ryan's love interest. Despite mixed reviews, the film was a financial success. She also appeared in "The Recruit" (2003), which did not fare well critically.

In 2004, Moynahan joined Will Smith in the sci-fi movie "I, Robot," inspired by Isaac Asimov's stories.
