During their wedding, Branson looked dashing in a white shawl lapel gown paired with a white bow tie, while Templeman wore an elegant white full-lace long-sleeve ball gown.

Clare Sarah Branson's Father Was Previously Married

Richard Branson, Clare Sarah Branson's father, was married once before. Branson and Kristen Tomassi got married on July 22, 1972, at Holy Cross Church in Shipton-on-Cherwell, a village in England. Their wedding was officiated by Reverend Hubert McCann.  

Following their wedding, the pair lived in Blenheim Palace, the historic home of the Dukes of Marlborough in Oxfordshire, England. Despite being married for years, Tomassi and Branson didn't have children.  

However, after seven years together, the couple decided to end their marriage and filed for divorce in 1979. Their separation was confirmed by the courts by the end of that year.

Clare Sarah Branson was the older sister of Holly Branson, born on November 21, 1981, and Sam Branson, born in 1985. Both her siblings pursued careers in acting. Sam gained recognition for his role in the debut movie, Superman Returns, while Holly became famous for her appearance on the show, E! True Hollywood Story.

Furthermore, both of Branson's siblings are now married. Her younger sister married Fred Andrews on December 20, 2011, and became the mother of twins, Artie and Etta Andrews, born on December 20, 2014.

Clare Sarah Branson: Tragic Early Passing  

Richard Branson's daughter, Clare Sarah Branson, passed away at the tender age of just four days. Clare's premature birth, three months ahead of schedule at the end of 1979, led to her untimely demise due to acute respiratory failure while she was at Raigmore Hospital.  

After her passing, Clare was laid to rest at Tomnahurich Cemetery in Inverness, Scotland, among other infants. In a heartfelt interview, her parents shared the enduring grief of her absence and the challenges they faced following their beloved daughter's loss.  

Before Branson's birth, Richard and Joan had visited Inverness, Scotland, for a vacation that was marred by Joan's health issues - she suffered from a stomach ache due to appendicitis. A medical check-up revealed a misjudgment in pregnancy timing, resulting in Clare being born prematurely, 25 weeks before the expected delivery date.  

Following Clare's death, Richard faced significant business challenges after the launch of Virgin Airlines, which nearly led to bankruptcy due to issues with the company's finances. The Branson family even listed their house for sale during this challenging time. However, they continue to honor Clare's memory by commemorating her death anniversary annually, holding her dear in their hearts.
