The Mad Men and The Good Girls star, Christina Hendricks was born on 3rd May of the year 1975. After coming in the acting world, she has achieved many things which includes fame, six  Emmy Award nominations, two Screen Actors Guild Awards, two Critics' Choice Awards for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series.

Christina Hendricks Was a Model

Before going out to the acting field, Christina was a model. She started her modelling career since she was 18 year old. 

Hendricks lived in Virginia till she completed her high school education and then moved to New York City where she pursued her career as a model. She stepped in this particular field because she had entered a Seventeen Cover Contest. Before the contest, she had worked as a receptionist and a staff in a beauty salon.

First Works

Even though Hendricks was interested in movies as she had joined theater club at her school and at her previous home town, Twin Fall's local theater group, it took her many years to go into movies.

Christina's first television debut was her role on MTV's television serial "Undressed". Then she began appearing on various movies and series like, " Beggars and choosers, Angel, The Big Time, The ER, The Court and Firefly.
