Brooke Elliott (Brooke Kathleen Elliott) is an American actress and singer. She was born on16 November 1974, in home town of Fridley, Minnesota, USA. She is the daughter of Robert Elliott and Kathleen Elliott. She has appeared in a variety of media, including film, television and theater.

Her excellent portrayal of the character of Jane Bingum in the television series, "Drop Dead Diva" brought her global fame and glory. She has performed in musical theater plays such as Beauty and the Beast and Wicked on tour in the United States, as well as Taboo and The Pirate Queen on Broadway.

The talented actor worked as a waiter at a theme restaurant before moving to Chicago in 1999 to join the cat of a theater company named, "Babes with Blades". She was with the theatrical group for a total 10 weeks, and the highlights of her position included performing and replicating scenes from "Heathers", "The Miracle Working" and "Robin Hood: Price of Thieves".

Furthermore, her major theater role was as the Sugar Bowl in the musical "Beauty and the Beast", followed by another important part in the First National Tour of the musical "Wicked", alongside Adam Lambert.

Her acting career was polished by a large quantity of work in theaters, which opened the way to her successes in the film industry. In 2000, she was offered a role in Mel Gibson's film named, "Woman in Park".
