Blake McIver Ewing is an American reality television star, singer-songwriter, model, pianist,  former go-go dancer, and child actor who loves to play the piano. He is most remembered for his role as Michelle's buddy, Derek, in the early 1990s classic family comedy "Full House," which he shared with Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. Additionally, he is known for playing "Waldo" in one of the feature film adaptions of "The Little Rascals."

Later, he had appearances in films including "Tarzan," "Raising Helen," and "Ragtime," as the little child, for which he was nominated for an "Ovation Award." In 2010, shortly after he found out he was gay, he removed the "Ewing" from his name. Ewing, an openly gay man,  mostly speaks out on "LGBTQ" problems and the need for gay role models for teenagers and homosexual people who are still coming into their own and seeking a voice.

Blake was born to Bill Ewing and Susan McIver on March 27, 1985, in Los Angeles, California. In the 1970s and the early 1980s, both of his parents were successful in show business. Zack, one of his brothers, is also a performer. After winning the junior singer competition on "Star Search" (1992) with host Ed McMahon, he had his acting start at the age of 7. He made a few appearances as a small part of sitcoms on TV series during the following several years, including "Full House" (9 episodes between 1992 and 1995) and "The Nanny" (1993).

In 1993, he pursued his career as an actor after debuting in "Calendar Girl." at six years old. He was given the role-playing "Waldo" in "The Little Rascals" a year later (1994). He had appearances in 1995 in movies like "Problem Child 3: Junior in Love" and "Tom and Huck" and on TV shows like "Minor Adjustments" (1995–1996) and "Clueless" (1997). Several voices acting gigs in "Tarzan" (1999) and as "Menlow" in the animated series "Recess" between 1997 and 2000 came after that.

He continued his career as a go-go dancer in Los Angeles in 2013 to pay for the album's recording. His father co-wrote and sang the song "Along the River" from the soundtrack to the movie "End of the Spear," and apart from that, he even provided some help to the "It Gets Better Project" because he is also one of the people who grew up as a gay.
