Lenedra Carroll's parents were Jay J. Carroll, a longtime Alaskan resident of Homer, and Arva Barton Carroll. Unfortunately, both her parents have passed away. Her father, Jay, passed at the age of 72 in June 1993, while her mother, Arva, passed away at 88 on December 20, 2009, at the South Peninsula Hospital.  

Jay was born on June 24, 1921, in Kanab, Utah, and Arva hailed from St. George, Utah. They tied the knot in 1940 and later relocated to Alaska. Initially residing in Fairbanks for over ten years, they spent the following seven years in Seward. 

Jay worked for telephone and utility companies and eventually headed a power and water company in Seward. Arva served as a switchboard operator.

In 1958, they moved to Homer, where Jay established Homer Air Service, managing it for 13 years before becoming the owner of a fuel dock in Homer Harbor. Lenedra’s grandparents were Almon Carroll and Minnie Henderson.

During the initial years of their marriage, things went well, but over time, their relationship faced challenges. They ended up divorcing in the early 1980s, and they never publicly disclosed the reasons behind their separation.  

Kilcher, known for his role on the popular reality TV show "Alaska: The Last Frontier," is the eldest son of the late American homesteader Yule F. Kilcher. The show primarily featured the Kilcher family members. Additionally, he is also recognized as a singer-songwriter.

Vainshtein alleged wrongful termination without valid cause and asserted that Jewel owed millions in unpaid commissions to the manager. The lawsuit was further accused of a breach of a written contract and interference with contractual relations.
