After completing her basic education, Dana attended Winter Park High School and graduated with good grades. She then went on to pursue a bachelor's degree in the police academy at Seminole State College of Florida.

How Dana Met Scott?

According to Heightline, Dana Lee Burgio first met Scott Hall, her ex-husband and professional wrestler, at a bar in Orlando when she was only 17 years old. However, they lost contact with each other and went on with their lives. It was almost eight years later when they unexpectedly ran into each other at a nightclub in Orlando. Dana had already been married and divorced with twin boys who were five years old at the time.

Despite the time and circumstances that had passed, the two quickly reconnected, and their connection was strong enough to start dating. After two years of dating, they moved in together and decided to get married in February 1990 in Winter Park, Florida, where Scott lived and worked for Dusty Rhodes in small towns throughout the Southeast.

According to Dana, there was an undeniable spark between them, which served as the foundation of their relationship. At the beginning of their relationship, things were smooth sailing as they traveled together to Germany and the Caribbean during a two-year stint. They spent a lot of time together and shared many interests, including going to the gym and training, bike rides, and beach trips. Dana And Scott's Wavering Relationship: Ruined By Addiction And Finally Scott's Death 

Once Dana talked about the nature of her relationship with her ex-husband, Scott Hall. According to Dana, as Scott's fame grew, so did his addiction to drugs and alcohol, leading to the breakdown of their marriage and family. Despite their efforts to reconcile, they ultimately divorced in May 1998.

After her stint in WCW, Dana worked for Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) under the ring name "Asya." In ECW, she was a member of the Dudley Boyz's stable, known as the Dudley family. Asya had a short stint in ECW, leaving the promotion after a few months.
